Who is/was your most impactful leader?

My parents are my most impactful leaders. They both inspire me to work hard and constantly demonstrate the importance of kindness and respect.

What is your cool factor?

I love to travel! During a recent trip to Hawaii, I watched the sunrise from a 10,000 ft. elevation at the summit of Haleakala.

What’s been your biggest achievement?

Like many people, completing my undergrad has been my biggest achievement thus far.

What do you think makes a great leader?

There are many qualities that make a person a great leader. I think the main characteristics are passion, drive, and initiative. A great leader is motivated to make impactful changes and inspires others to do the same.

What was the first thing you led?

I have always felt like a leader in both my personal and professional life. I like taking initiative in planning and organizing, whether it’s a school project or a trip. In my first job as an assistant swim instructor during high school, I led groups of young children in swim safety classes and swim instruction in a pool environment.

Do you think leaders are born or made?

I believe many people have an innate ability to lead, however, I think leadership is also a trait that can be learned and developed over time.

Why recruitment?

Although recruitment is not a path I specifically sought out, I find it fascinating. Recruitment is about finding the best fit for both a company and candidate. It allows for relationship building and maximizes talent and opportunities. It is also a great way to gain insights into different industries and businesses.

What did you go to school for?

I went to Ryerson University and graduated with a Bachelor of Technology, majoring in Graphic Communications Management and minoring in Marketing.

What is something unique about you most people don’t know?

Although I’ve grown up in the city, I love the outdoors! Fishing, swimming, kayaking, hiking – you name it.
